Editorial policy

CrossHint publishes clue and answer pages only when the relationship is useful and the record is allowed to appear. We prefer a smaller trusted set over a large guessed set.

What can be indexed

A clue needs exactly one primary answer relationship to be eligible for the index. Pages also have to pass quality checks and sit in the published_index state. Fixtures, drafts, and noindex records stay out of sitemaps.

What we do not do

• Invent definitions or fake publication appearances
• Scrape third-party puzzle pages
• Publish a page for every search query
• Present unverified suggestions as certain

Rights

Data sources record a rights basis. Original CrossHint-owned entries do not need a public license URL. Third-party imports need a completed rights review before they are applied. Rights questions: contact@crosshint.com.

Corrections

Use Report a problem on a clue or answer page. Reports are reviewed privately and leave an audit trail.
